How to rethink your career in a few steps?
Incredible how often people having well-paid jobs admit that they feel like living in a golden cage. They think their jobs are draining their life energy and happiness, but they do not dare leave their comfort zones. Instead, they find various reasons like the need to maintain a good standard of living for their families and kids, their high positions (which were so demanding to achieve!), or the salary landing on their accounts every month without any particular risk. They put their dreams into the box and throw the key into the river. Living in comfort but without freedom. Constantly looking for a life-work balance and never feeling fulfilled.
You used to love your work and be excited about your tasks, new projects, and opportunities, but now you feel you have reached a plateau in your career, your creativity has gone, and you cannot grow anymore within the company. One day your job will be over, and you will have plenty of time and nothing special to do. But it will be too late for change. How will it make you feel?
Do you remember whom you wanted to become at the beginning of your professional path? Do you remember your dreams? Give yourself a moment for reflection. Stop running and think instead: what do I want from life? How do I want to work? How do I want to feel 10 or 20 years from now? Facing the truth might be refreshing and redefine your thinking about the future. If you are open to a deeper reflection, simply say YES to me via private message.
